Broadband in India and wimax

You must have heard for a long time that wimax is on the way and will be launched any day in India but the lousy government is taking its own time to allocate the spectrum for wimax. Bsnl broadband has been running wimax trials for a long time now at ten locations across India and as per bsnl the trials have been very succesful till date with excelent results at both rural and urban areas. Nokia has also announced its first wimax phone to be launched early next year which you can use to make voip calls using your wimax connection. I read a few wimax articles at wimax blog and they were an eye opener. The reliance broadband forum is also a good one to discuss about up comming reliance wimax services.
